DJ LeMahieu Plates Three Runs In Loss
3 years agoNew York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu went 1-for-4 with a double, a walk, and three RBI in Wednesday's loss to the Los Angeles Angels. LeMahieu walked in the first inning and scored on a Giancarlo Stanton single, then cleared the bases later in the frame with a three-run double. The strong effort put a cap on LeMahieu's best month of the season, as he slashed .292/.350/.442 with four homers, 19 RBI, and 12 runs scored in 113 June at-bats. His .306 BABIP still suggests that he's still a bit unlucky, which could point to some more success if he starts to see some good luck in that department.
