Kwang Hyun Kim Earns A Win On Wednesday
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Kwang Hyun Kim pitched well on Wednesday and earned a win against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Kim went five innings, allowing just one run on three hits and three walks while striking out five. He needed 96 pitches (60 strikes) to get through his five innings, so he was unable to get the sixth for a quality start. Still, Kim earned the win, improving to 2-5, and dropped his ERA to 3.79. While he's been far from spectacular, Kim has been fairly consistent and has been anchoring the Cardinals rotation along with Adam Wainwright.
