3 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Bobby Dalbec (hamstring) was removed from Tuesday's game against the Kansas City Royals due to hamstring tightness. Red Sox manager Alex Cora doesn't seem to be overly concerned about the injury, but he said after the game that Dalbec likely won't be in Wednesday's lineup. Dalbec is being considered day-to-day for now. Dalbec has had a decent month of June, slashing .237/.280/.500 with five home runs, 12 RBI and 11 runs. If Dalbec ends up missing some time, Danny Santana and Michael Chavis would be candidates to see an increase in playing time.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
