Brian Anderson Ramps Up Baseball Activities
3 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman Brian Anderson (shoulder) participated in soft toss and defensive drills on Tuesday. He's been sidelined since May 24 with a dislocated shoulder. The 28-year-old was placed on the 60-day injured list a week ago and is about a month away from returning to action. Anderson is slashing .250/.316/.371 with three home runs, 11 RBI, 13 runs scored, and three stolen bases across 136 plate appearances in 2021. The Marlins' third baseman has value in deep-league formats and fantasy managers should stash him on the IL if they can. Jon Berti will continue to handle third base duties while Anderson is sidelined.
