Jasson Dominguez To Play In Futures Game
3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Jasson Dominguez, the team's top prospect, will play in this year's All-Star Futures Game on July 11. The No. 24 overall prospect in baseball will become the first player to take part in the Futures Game without having played in a full-season league. He'll be the youngest player since Vladimir Guerrero Jr. played in the game at age 18 in 2017. The 18-year-old Dominguez has come with plenty of hype and has drawn comparisons to Bo Jackson, Mickey Mantle and Mike Trout. Fantasy managers in dynasty/keeper leagues should already know who he is, but we should temper expectations because of his age and the fact that he just hasn't seen much professional competition yet. The left-handed hitter is mature for his age and has a great work ethic, though, giving him 30-30 potential in the big leagues some day because of his above-average tools across the board.
