Carlos Santana Hits Three-Run Home Run On Monday
3 years agoKansas City Royals first baseman Carlos Santana got the scoring started in Monday's game against the Boston Red Sox. Santana hit a three-run home run in the first inning of the game. Unfortunately for Santana and the Royals, the Red Sox chipped away at the early lead and eventually went on to win the game 6-5. The home run was Santana's only hit of the game as he went 1-for-4. He is now slashing .243/.365/.410 with 13 home runs and 45 RBI on the year. He only has three home runs and a total of just five extra-base hits this month. He's bounced back strong from last year, when he slashed just .199/.349/.350, but he hasn't been close to his 2019 form, when he slashed .281/.397/.515 with 34 home runs.
