Zack Britton Scheduled For MRI
Zack Britton will undergo an MRI on his injured hamstring, per general manager Brian Cashman. The left-hander was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a strained left hamstring. He's expected to come off the injured list when eligible on July 6, but the MRI results could change that timeline. Britton owns a 4.15 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 3:3 K: BB across four 1/3 innings in 2021. The southpaw has appeared in only five games for the Yankees this season and is mainly worth rostering in league formats that reward solds (saves and holds).
