Andrelton Simmons Hits Third Long Ball Of Season
3 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Andrelton Simmons kept up his recent strong play at the dish in Sunday's win over the Cleveland Indians. Simmons homered in the third inning to give the Twins a 3-0 lead, then later walked and scored a run in the fourth. The veteran shortstop has battled ankle injuries once again this season but appears healthy and has been on a tear lately, going 7-for-22 with a home run, two RBI, and seven runs scored over his last six contests. He should only be considered in deeper points leagues, given that he's not a multi-category producer.
