Logan Allen To Start On Sunday
3 years agoCleveland Indians left-hander Logan Allen has been tabbed to start on Sunday against the Minnesota Twins. Allen started the season in the starting rotation but struggled to the tune of a 9.19 ERA, 1.72 WHIP and 12:7 K:BB in five starts over 15 2/3 innings before being sent to Triple-A. In five starts in the minors, the southpaw has an 11.72 ERA, 2.15 WHIP and 13:12 K:BB over 17 2/3 frames. With the Tribe's rotation hit hard by injuries recently, they have no choice but to turn to Allen this weekend in Minnesota. The 24-year-old will have another chance to prove he belongs in the majors, but because he hasn't pitched well at any level in 2021, fantasy managers should be looking to avoid him against the Twins.
