Luis Arraez Collects Three Extra-Base Hits, RBI In Friday's Win
3 years agoMinnesota Twins infielder/outfielder Luis Arraez went 3-for-4 with two triples, a double, three RBI, and a pair of runs scored in Friday's 8-7 win over the Cleveland Indians. Arraez was busy from the beginning of the game, tripling and scoring in the first inning, driving in a run with another triple and scoring again in the third, then finishing off his day with a go-ahead, two-run double in the sixth frame. The 24-year-old has been excellent in 35 June at-bats since returning from a shoulder injury, as he's batting .371 with five extra-base hits, six RBI, and seven runs scored. Arraez is probably more helpful in a points format, though he can also be an underrated boost to managers batting average and runs column in roto formats.
