Gregory Polanco Sitting Out Friday's Contest
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco is not in the starting lineup for Friday night's matchup with the Cardinals. It looks to just be a night off for Polanco, who has played in 29 of the team's last 33 games. He hasn't looked very good at the plate this year, as he's slashing .201/.273/.348 with seven homers, seven steals, 21 RBI and 21 runs scored over 61 games this season. His only value at this point is in NL-only formats or deep mixed leagues. While he sits out Friday, Phillip Evans is getting the start in right field and will bat fifth against the Cardinals.
