Jameson Taillon Has One Of His Best Efforts Against Royals
4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jameson Taillon turned in one of his best efforts of the season to help beat the Kansas City Royals by a score of 8-1 on Thursday afternoon. Taillon tied his season-high by going 6 1/3 innings, allowing five hits and only one run while walking two and striking out six. It was just the third time that the right-hander recorded an out past the fifth inning in 14 starts as a Yankee. New York had lost each of Taillon's previous four starts. The 29-year-old is now 2-4 on the year with a 5.18 ERA in his 14 starts. His fantasy managers are hoping that this is a sign of things to come, as Taillon has been a frustrating play in his first year in the Bronx.
