Michael Fulmer Closes Out Four-Run Victory Over Cardinals
3 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Michael Fulmer pitched a solid ninth inning to close out the team's 6-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday. He allowed one hit, no walks and no runs while striking out two. Fulmer has taken over as the team's primary closer once again. He earned the team's last two saves before this game, which was just one run away from being another converted save. Through 24 appearances on the year, Fulmer has a 3.46 ERA and 1.26 WHIP. He's converted six of seven save opportunities. He should be rostered in all fantasy leagues while he remains the Tigers' primary closer.
