Harris English A Viable Option At TPC River Highlands
3 years agoHarris English is firmly trending in the right direction. The University of Georgia product has made five consecutive cuts, including a 13th-place finish at the Byron Nelson, a 14th-place finish at the Palmetto Championship and a third-place finish last week at the U.S. Open. English recorded his best approach week since the 2019 Sanderson Farms Championship at the U.S. Open. With that being said, he also gained 8.4 strokes putting and around the green. While fantasy managers should not bank on English repeating that type of short-game performance again, he has actually been better than most coming off a spike putting week. English tends to percolate; Prior to his win this January at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, he recorded a sixth-place finish at the RSM and a fifth-place finish at the OHL. The three-time PGA Tour winner is indubitably primed for another high finish, and he should not be overlooked this week at TPC River Highlands.
