WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (6/22/21): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel

It's a new week in the WNBA, with three games on Tuesday's docket.

We've got Dallas taking on the Jonquel Jones-less Sun while the Sky visit the Liberty in the early games, followed by the Mystics facing off with the Seattle Storm late

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/22/21. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. Want to talk more about the WNBA? WNBA DFS Game Breakdown: Wings @ Sun

When: 7:00 PM ET

Watch: WNBA League Pass

Players of Interest: As mentioned above, Connecticut is without Jonquel Jones. Will that keep them from winning a game they should win against the Wings?

We'll see. For Dallas, this could be a chance for someone to make something happen on the interior, but the minutes and usage are still too inconsistent there between Charli Collier, Bella Alarie, and Isabelle Harrison for me to feel comfortable playing one of them.

I'd rather take a swing at Satou Sabally, even if her DFS salary is a little high. Without Jones to check her at the four, Sabally could do a ton of damage when the Wings go small. She only played 15 minutes last game, but you'd have to think Dallas gets the lineup right. You can also pivot to Kayla Thornton for a bit of a discount at a forward who should play well.

But the big plays in Dallas remain in the backcourt. Arike Ogunbowale and Marina Mabrey are both great offensive players who sometimes struggle with consistency, so while there's risk in playing them, both have high ceilings, though this game could be a little lower-scoring than we're used to seeing from Wings games. You could also take a chance on Tyasha Harris, who has taken 15 field goal attempts over the past two games.

For the Sun, Brionna Jones and DeWanna Bonner are top plays against one of the league's worst defenses. Both should see double-digit shot attempts and also contribute on the boards. I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of winning lineups that have both players.

Kaila Charles has been on a hot streak lately. With players like her who don't have a history of success, it's always risky to bet on a streak to continue, but I think she remains a strong value option.

WNBA DFS Game Breakdown: Sky @ Liberty

When: 7:00 PM ET

Watch: Amazon Prime

Players of Interest: Chicago might not have the personnel to just demolish the Liberty inside like the Aces did, but you should still have a healthy dose of Candace Parker and Stefanie Dolson in your lineups. Dolson played just 15 minutes last game though, so this might be the slate where playing Azura Stevens finally pays off for you. Don't be afraid to play Ruthy Hebard as well in this one. Go heavy on the Sky frontcourt.

Courtney Vandersloot remains the league's best point guard. In what should be a fast-paced, offensive-focused game, you basically have to pay up for Sloot in at least one of your lineups. She had 18 points, 11 assists, and five rebounds against Connecticut and I see no reason she couldn't equal that.

Meanwhile, Diamond DeShields, Kahleah Copper, and Allie Quigley are all good upside plays as well against this Liberty team. Play everyone!

For New York, also play a lot of people! I expect a high-scoring game here, so make sure you have Betnijah Laney in some lineups, as she's New York's best scorer.

But Rebecca Allen had 15 shot attempts last game, finishing with 19 points, six rebounds, three assists, three steals, and three blocks. I love playing Allen right now. I'd also say to have a good dose of Sami Whitcomb based on how she's being used.

Kiah Stokes is probably back, but Kylee Shook should remain the starting center. She can probably give you something similar to the 11-point, seven-rebound game she had against the Sparks.

As for Sabrina Ionescu, I don't know! She hasn't scored in double figures since May 24th and has been coming off the bench lately. May 24th was the last time she shot over 33 percent from the floor, but she's had decent rebound and assist numbers since then. I'll probably stay away, but she's going to have a big bounceback game soon.

WNBA DFS Game Breakdown: Mystics @ Storm

When: 10:00 PM ET

Watch: WNBA League Pass

Players of Interest: Sure, this isn't the matchup between these teams we expected this season since Elena Delle Donne remains out, but an injured Mystics team is easy to figure out in fantasy.

Tina Charles scored 30 points last game and, more importantly, took 30 shots. The Mystics are feeding the former MVP. She's a great fantasy option.

I worry Theresa Plaisance is getting a little pricy because of her recent play, but her three-point volume remains high and there's ample reason to play her wth Myisha Hines-Allen out.

With Natasha Cloud and Kiara Leslie out, the backcourt has some easy plays too. Ariel Atkins is an obvious must-play, but Leilani Mitchell should see a ton of minutes too and has some upside. I'm also interested in Syndey Wiese if we want to talk about value, because she'll likely shoot a handful of three-pointers.

For Seattle, this is also pretty easy to figure out.

Breanna Stewart against a team without a ton of frontcourt speed? Huge, huge game incoming. Top play on this whole slate. Could score 30 points and grab 15 boards.

Jewell Loyd could take a bit of a backseat in this one, but that still means something like 15 points, five boards, and five assists. Still a strong option.

Sue Bird is playing well lately. Lots of assists. Lots of threes. That's definitely a trend that can continue.

The bench hasn't been getting a ton of play, so for some value, your best bet is starting wing Katie Lou Samuelson. She had 10 points last game, but that was just her third game of the season to hit that mark. There's really not a ton of DFS value in Seattle.
