Jacob Stallings Drives In Lone Run In Loss
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates catcher Jacob Stallings drove in the team's lone run of the game on Sunday, finishing 1-for-4 with an RBI single in a 2-1 loss to the Indians. Stallings had a solid month at the plate in May and was beginning to look like a solid fantasy catcher, but over 14 games in June he is slashing .214/.283/.357 with one home run, nine RBI and five runs scored. He's now slashing .230/.318/.399 with five home runs, 29 RBI and 18 runs scored over 55 games this year, and is only an option in deep mixed leagues and NL-only formats.
