3 years agoCincinnati Reds relief pitcher Tejay Antone (forearm) is likely to be activated from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday, according to Reds manager David Bell. Antone has been on the injured list since June 10 due to inflammation in his right forearm. He's been the Reds' best reliever by every measure this year, posting a 1.41 ERA and 0.72 WHIP with a 34.5% strikeout rate over 32 innings. He's been used in both a setup role and as a closer this year. That's likely to continue upon his return with Lucas Sims seeing the bulk of the save opportunities as long as he performs well. Antone has three saves and seven holds on the year while Sims leads the team with seven saves.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
