We only have one game tonight. It is the critical Game 7 in Brooklyn to see who gets the first invitation to the Eastern Conference Finals. The home game has won all six games of this series so far. Can the Bucks buck the trend, or will they be sent home earlier than most thought again this year? Tonight we get to find out.
We will go back to Showdown mode for DFS on DraftKings again tonight. To build our rosters for this particular format, we need to identify a Captain and five utility players. It's just like the analytics nerds dreamt it up: positionless basketball. The Captain will earn 1.5 times the amount of points he regularly tallies, but it also drives up the price for your more prominent players.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 6/19/21. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. With COVID-19 a significant factor, remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

Brooklyn Nets (-1, 215 total)
Kevin Durant - SF/PF (Captain: $18,000, Utility: $12,000)
Not many guys command Durant's salary, but not many deserve it either. K.D. has at least 49 DraftKings points in all six games of this series and even hit triple digits in Game 5. It's going to take that kind of night from Durant for the Nets to take this series. James Harden is a decent pick also with Kyrie Irving out, but for me, Durant is the alpha on this team and Harden is willing to take a back seat if it helps the team. They pay K.D. to be the clincher. Let's see if he does what he's paid to do tonight.
Blake Griffin - PF ($7,800)
Sure, Blake is just a role player now, but he's playing a good role. He is the only other player on the team besides Durant to score at least 20 DraftKings points in every game of this series. That's how inconsistent the rest of the Brooklyn role players have been. Some of them have come up big in certain situations, but the only reliable one of the lot has been Griffin. He's the one to turn to in cash games and is a solid GPP option as well.
Jeff Green - PF/C ($5,200)
Green has only played in the last three games of this series, but he has made a decent impact with his court time, even with Durant doing Durant things. Green has 73 DraftKings points in those three games. He's a decent punt option in a showdown matchup that is going to require at least one with all of the star power on display on both sides.
Other options: James Harden ($11,400), Bruce Brown ($6,400)

Milwaukee Bucks (+1, 215 total)
Giannis Antetokounmpo - PF/C (Captain: $18,300, Utility: $12,2o0)
Durant has by far the highest upside, but believe it or not, Giannis has had the higher floor over the last four games of this series. He was held in check for the first two games, but Brooklyn has lost track of him some in the last four games. Giannis has at least 52 DraftKings points in all of those games, but hasn't broken 62. If you want a higher ceiling for your money, you have to use Durant. Giannis might be a better cash option though.
Khris Middleton - SG/SF (Captain: $15,000, Utility: $10,0o0)
You could argue that Middleton has been more important to the Bucks than Giannis and I would have a really hard time arguing with you. Middleton dropped 70 DraftKings points in Game 6. Giannis hasn't done that in this series. He hasn't even really come close. Middleton's floor is slightly lower, but we are talking a huge difference in price here. Huge enough that I consider Middleton more bang for the buck.
P.J. Tucker - SF/PF ($4,400)
The minutes are there for Tucker because he has been the only one who provides even a little bit of resistance to K.D. If minutes are the most important thing to you in a value play, Tucker has that in spades. However, minutes and being a dominant defender don't always show up in DFS. Tucker has single digit DraftKings points in three of the six games, but he has also cleared 15 the other three times. Tucker is usually a strong enough rebounder to propel him into double digits at least. He's just cheap enough to be tempting here.
Other options: Jrue Holiday ($9,400), Brook Lopez ($6,000)
