John Gant Has Another Subpar Start On Thursday
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher John Gant took the loss in Thursday's start against the Atlanta Braves. Gant allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out four in 5 1/3 innings. Gant got off to a great start this season, but he's struggled in his past three starts, allowing 15 runs despite pitching just 11 innings. His record dropped to 4-5 and his ERA is up to 3.50. He'll try to get back on track against the Tigers in his next scheduled start.
