Luis Severino Moves To High-A
3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (elbow) has been shifted from Low-A Tampa to High-A Hudson Valley to continue his rehab assignment. Severino threw 34 pitches over 2 2/3 innings, striking out three batters while allowing one run in his first rehab outing. The 27-year-old righty is poised to return ahead of the All-Star break as long as he continues to ramp up without setback. Severino could deliver an ace-like boost to fantasy managers who stash him if he can get back to the level of play he delivered in the 2017 and 2018 campaigns.
