Raimel Tapia Not In The Lineup On Saturday
Raimel Tapia is not in the lineup on Saturday vs. the Cincinnati Reds. This looks to be a routine day of rest for the 27-year-old who is slashing an impressive .413/.413/.587 across 46 at-bats in June (10 games). Overall, he's got a .289/.335/.404 batting line to go along with five home runs, 31 RBI, and five stolen bases over 235 at-bats. Center fielder Garrett Hampson is leading off for Colorado on Saturday while Connor Joe is in left field and Yonathan Daza is in right.

Raimel Tapia Elects Free Agency
Raimel Tapia has decided to elect free agency on Monday. He was recently designated for assignment by the organization in order to make room for Sal Frelick on the active roster. The 29-year-old spent time with the Boston Red Sox earlier in the season before joining the Brewers. He's slashing .230/.308/.388 with three home runs, 13 RBI, and eight steals across 33 games. Tapia could catch on elsewhere as a depth option, but it's unlikely he'll provide fantasy value wherever he goes.

Raimel Tapia Signs With Brewers
Raimel Tapia signed an undisclosed deal with the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday, according to a source. Tapia was released by the Boston Red Sox on Sunday, but he's now joined the Brewers for their game on Tuesday against the Minnesota Twins, although he is not in the starting lineup. Tapia played in 39 games for the Red Sox before getting released, and he hit .264 (23-for-87) with four doubles, a triple, a home run, 10 RBI, six stolen bases and 14 runs scored in 97 plate appearances. The 29-year-old has been much better against right-handed pitching and could be worth a look for his speed in NL-only leagues. However, fantasy managers should expect Tapia to see infrequent playing time as outfield depth in his new digs.

Christian Arroyo Activated, Raimel Tapia Designated For Assignment
Christian Arroyo (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list on Monday and designated outfielder Raimel Tapia for assignment in a corresponding move. Arroyo is back in the starting lineup on Monday against the Tampa Bay Rays and left-hander Shane McClanahan, playing second base and batting ninth. The 28-year-old will return to a .257/.295/.365 slash line with a homer, 11 RBI, a stolen base and 12 runs scored in 74 at-bats this year. He'll mostly play the keystone for Boston against left-handers, making him mostly a fantasy option in AL-only leagues. Tapia could be playing elsewhere if he clears waivers. The 29-year-old outfielder has hit .264 (23-for-87) with four doubles, a triple, a homer, 10 RBI and six steals in 39 games this year for Boston.

Raimel Tapia Hitting In Leadoff Spot Tuesday
Raimel Tapia is starting out of the leadoff spot Tuesday night when the club hosts right-hander Ben Lively and the Cincinnati Reds. It's a fairly rare start for the speedster, as Alex Verdugo has been a constant out of the leadoff spot for the BoSox this season, appearing in 51 of the team's 53 contests. The 29-year-old Tapia hasn't been totally out of the picture, though, as he's appeared in 35 games while hitting .256 with one homer and five stolen bases across 87 trips to the plate. However, his .659 OPS, .297 wOBA, and 82 wRC+ leave plenty to be desired despite solid glove work in the outfield.
