3 years agoThe San Francisco Giants officially placed outfielder Alex Dickerson (back) on the 10-day injured list with an upper back strain. He was removed early from Tuesday's game against the Rangers and will miss at least the next 10 days. According to Giants manager Gabe Kapler, Dickerson's stay on the injured list isn't expected to be long. Mike Tauchman and Austin Slater should see an uptick in playing time while Dickerson is sidelined. Fantasy managers in standard leagues can move on from Dickerson. The 31-year-old is mainly an option in deep leagues and NL-only formats. Pitcher Jimmie Sherfy's contract was selected by the Giants in a corresponding move.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
