Jose Cisnero Earns Another Save On Tuesday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Jose Cisnero was called upon in the ninth inning of Tuesday's game against the Seattle Mariners and went on to earn his second save of the year. He entered the game while the Tigers were up 5-3 and he allowed one hit, no walks and no runs while striking out two. Cisnero has now converted the team's last two saves and looks to be the clear frontrunner for saves while Michael Fulmer (shoulder) is sidelined. The team recently received positive news on Fulmer and he could be back in a week or so, but Cisnero is still worth adding in all leagues. It's certainly no guarantee he cedes the closing role to Fulmer upon Fulmer's return.
