Ryan Jeffers Swats Second Homer Of Season
3 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's victory over the Kansas City Royals. Jeffers' homer was a towering blast, traveling 435 feet at an exit velocity of 110.4 MPH. The young backstop's time down at Triple-A must have served him well, as he has looked like a completely different player at the plate in his short time back with the big club. In three games played, Jeffers is batting .416 with two home runs, a triple, and four RBI. He is certainly worth a look in deeper formats by fantasy managers struggling at the catcher spot.
