Jorge Polanco Homers In Friday's Loss
3 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman/shortstop Jorge Polanco collected a walk, a home run, and a pair of runs scored in Friday's 14-5 loss to the Kansas City Royals. Polanco drilled a 101.4 MPH flyout in his first at-bat of the day, then collected a 100.8 MPH single. He rounded out his day with a mammoth 435-foot home run, which left his bat at 104.6 MPH. The 27-year-old now has an extra-base hit in three straight games and has two straight multi-hit contests, as he appears to be on the verge of another hot streak. Now fully healthy once again, Polanco should be a solid fantasy second baseman/shortstop the rest of the way.
