Evan White, Dylan Moore Could Begin Rehab Assignment Soon
3 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Evan White (hip) and Dylan Moore () were taking batting practice with the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers on Friday, and could begin a rehab assignment soon, according to Tacoma Rainiers broadcaster Mike Curto. White has been out since May 14 with a right hip flexor strain, while Moore has been out since May 19 with a calf strain. It's been a rough season for the both of them, as White is slashing .144/.202/.237 over 30 games, while Moore is slashing .168/.270/.353 over 41 games. However, Moore has proven to be slightly more valuable than White, as Moore also has five homers, eight steals, 19 RBI and 14 runs scored. There's no timetable yet for their return, but barring setbacks they should be back by the middle of the month.
