J.A. Happ Shaky In No-Decision
3 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher J.A. Happ struggled in Thursday's no-decision against the Kansas City Royals. Happ managed to go five innings, though he allowed five runs on nine hits while fanning two batters with no walks. The veteran hurler served up a season-high three homers and didn't limit hard contact very well, particularly with his fastball and slider. Happ put together three straight solid starts from the end of April into May, then three straight poor ones, though he did strike out 10 batters on May 23. He's a good example of a streaming option in fantasy leagues, though managers can probably find better options on the waiver wire.
