3 years agoDenny Hamlin probably thought he might be closer to the top five on Sunday but it was not meant to be. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver qualified 14th and many believe he will easily move into contention. Hamlin has the ninth-best average finish at Charlotte and seventh overall on intermediate tracks since 2018. The No. 11 may be a bit slow early on runs but he will pick up speed as the runs get longer. While Hamlin is not expected to win, , he is quite consistent as he is fourth among all drivers on intermediate tracks in points.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
