3 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sixto Sanchez (arm) is set to throw a bullpen session at some point in the next few days, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. Sanchez has been sidelined since March, when he first experienced arm discomfort. He had a setback in his recovery during a simulated game on April 1, when an MRI showed mild shoulder inflammation. He has been working his way back ever since and he began throwing from 120 feet about a week ago. The expectation at this point is that he will be able to make his 2021 debut for the Marlins sometime in mid or late June.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
