Anthony Rendon Mired In Slump
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon will try and snap out of a 2-for-21 slump when the team opens up a series with the Rangers on Tuesday. With star teammate Mike Trout out for the next two months, the Angels need Rendon to step up. But the veteran is slugging only .383 in the month of May and is hitting only .167 with runners in scoring position for the season. Playing Rendon in DFS lineups may be a risky proposition at the moment, as the 30-year-old is slashing only .217/.339/.283 through 14 games at Angel Stadium this season.
