Brad Miller Launches Three-Run Homer Versus Red Sox
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies infielder/outfielder Brad Miller went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in a win over the Red Sox on Sunday. Miller's first-inning homer barely grazed the bottom of the foul-pole, Statcast projected the homer at 330 feet, but it still counted for three runs to put the home team up early. Miller would also single and score another run later in the game. Despite the offensive outburst on Sunday, Miller is still a fringe option in fantasy. He's sporting a strikeout rate north of 30 percent and his .308 batting average is not sustainable as he's been the beneficiary of a lucky .447 BABIP. Fantasy managers in 15-plus team fantasy leagues can roster Miller as a bench option with eligibility at multiple positions.
