J.P. Crawford Getting Day Off Sunday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford is out of the lineup for Sunday's matchup with the Padres. It appears to be a well-deserved day off for Crawford, who had appeared in all 46 of the team's games to start the season. While not necessarily terrible numbers, Crawford has not put up much value in fantasy this year as he is slashing .247/.314/.312 with one home run, one steal, 14 RBI and 18 runs scored. At this point he seems to be a viable fantasy option only in deeper AL-only formats. With Crawford sitting, Donovan Walton will get the start at short and is leading off for Seattle on Sunday.
