4 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz (wrist) was scratched from the lineup for Friday's game against the Cleveland Indians. Cruz was initially penciled into the lineup card, though the team opted to sit him, as he's dealing with a sore wrist after being hit by a pitch during the second game of Thursday's doubleheader against the Los Angeles Angels. Max Kepler will serve as the designated hitter and bat third against Indians' righty Triston McKenzie.--Tim Capurso
