Elieser Hernandez To Make Second Rehab Start Sunday
3 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Elieser Hernandez (biceps) will make his second rehab start with Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday, according to Cristina De Nicola of MLB.com. In his first rehab start on Tuesday, Hernandez tossed three scoreless innings, allowing two walks while striking out four. He has been sidelined since April 5 with biceps inflammation, but it looks like he will be back with Miami soon. When healthy, he'll look to recapture the success of his 2020 campaign in which he went 1-0 with a 3.16 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 25 2/3 innings of work.
