Yusniel Diaz Placed On Minor League Injured List Tuesday
Yusniel Diaz (hip) was placed on the Minor League seven-day injured list Tuesday with a right hip strain, per MLB.com's Joe Trezza. Diaz, the O's eighth-ranked prospect has already been sidelined for a week at Triple-A Norfolk due to the issue. The 24-year-old has gone 5-for-25 with one home run in his first six games at Norfolk but had a strong spring with the O's. Fantasy managers in dynasty leagues should keep an eye on more news regarding Diaz's health in the coming days.

Dodgers Sign Yusniel Diaz To Minor-League Deal
Yusniel Diaz to a minor-league deal on Friday that includes an invitation to major-league spring training. Diaz made his major-league debut last year with the Baltimore Orioles, but he struck out in his only plate appearance. The 26-year-old was originally signed out of Cuba by the Dodgers in 2015, so he'll be returning to the organization for 2023. He was sent to Baltimore in the blockbuster trade involving Manny Machado in 2018. In six minor-league seasons, Diaz has hit .261/.340/.410 with a .749 OPS, 54 home runs, 268 RBI, 273 runs scored and 39 stolen bases in 523 games played. Given LA's loaded roster, there's a high likelihood that Diaz opens the year in the minors.
