Adam Duvall Does It All In The Fifth Inning
4 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Adam Duvall had an excellent fifth inning in Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Duvall hit a three-run home run, providing all of the runs the Marlins would need to salvage a win in the last game of the series. He also threw Mookie Betts out at home on an excellent throw from right field in the bottom of the inning. Duvall is hitting just .223 but he has eight home runs and 28 RBI despite getting inconsistent at bats because manager Don Mattingly thinks he's managing a little league team where everyone needs to get at bats. Duvall will continue to contribute in power categories, but could be an issue for a team's batting average in standard leagues.
