In a wild finish, Edson Barboza (22-9) added yet another highlight-reel finish to his already stacked resume. A shade over a minute into the third and final round, Barboza landed a solid right to the jaw of Shane Burgos. Burgos stood still in the pocket before falling back into the cage a couple of seconds later. Barboza was able to pounce on top and finish the bout almost instantly. Statistically, Barboza tallied 98 significant strikes, with neither fighter attempting a takedown. Is this the spark Barboza needed to give his career a jump-start?--Matt Bricker

Edson Barboza suffered a decision loss to Lerone Murphy in the main event of UFC Vegas 92 on Saturday. Barboza entered the bout on a two-fight winning streak but was the underdog. In the fight, Barboza struggled from the get-go as Murphy was the faster and more active striker. The Brazilian also struggled to defend takedowns and he finished the fight being outstruck 259-to-79 and was taken down four times as he was controlled for over five minutes. With the loss, Barboza is now 18-12 in the UFC and will likely face someone outside the rankings next time out. --Cole Shelton

Edson Barboza was nearly knocked out in the first round of his UFC Vegas 81 clash with Sodiq Yusuff but survived the onslaught to come through as the fight winner. Barboza has experienced mixed results following his 2020 move down to the featherweight division, but now he's won back-to-back fights. In 25 minutes of action, Barboza landed three takedowns and 164 significant strikes. Not only did Barboza get his hand raised, but the UFC veteran also earned himself a performance bonus which pushes him to the top of the list for the most Fight of the Night bonuses in UFC history.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller

Coming off a knockout victory in his last bout, UFC featherweight Edson Barboza (23-11) will enter the Octagon against Sadiq Yusuff at UFC Vegas 81 on Saturday. A very dangerous striker, 13 of his 23 wins have come by knockout/TKO, including his first Octagon win. DraftKings sees Barboza as the underdog with a salary of $7,500. He averages 56.0 fantasy points per contest through 28 UFC bouts. Yusuff is one of the hottest prospects in the featherweight division right now and with a record of 13-2, he will be a tough match for Barboza.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller
