4 years agoLos Angeles Angels pitcher outfielder Shohei Ohtani is scheduled to take the mound Wednesday against Cleveland. Ohtani was originally slated to toe the rubber on Tuesday but will now be pushed back just one day due to fatigue. The two-way star looked electric on the mound in his last outing, allowing one run and striking out 10 batters over seven innings. Manager Joe Maddon added that the team doesn't expect Ohtani to be a 200-inning pitcher, likely something fantasy managers already banked on when drafting him as a hurler. Despite the inevitable innings cap, Ohtani has big strikeout upside and should be able to provide strong ratios as a pitcher in 2021, making him a must-start in most matchups.--Tim Capurso
