4 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz collected his ninth home run of the season in Wednesday's 13-8 loss to the White Sox. Cruz got every bit of a Dallas Keuchel fastball in his first at-bat of the game, sending it 423 feet into the left-center seats at an exit velocity of 106.7 MPH. Wednesday's game marked the veteran slugger's third straight multi-hit game, raising his season average to .303. Cruz continues to destroy baseballs, as three of his batted balls from the contest registered exit velocities of 106 MPH or greater. He'll look to stay hot on Thursday against Lance Lynn, who has been one of the better right-handed pitchers in the game this season.--Tim Capurso
