Didi Gregorius Could Be Out A Couple Days After Early Exit
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Didi Gregorius (elbow) could be out for a couple games after exiting Wednesday's game early, according to Matt Gelb of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Gregorius was replaced on defense in the bottom of the fifth inning, as he exited with what was reported as right elbow stiffness. Gregorius was 0-for-2 with a strikeout prior to his exit, as he is now hitting .229 with a .630 OPS this year. Gelb also reports that it is likely there will be some roster moves on Thursday, as the Phillies' four-man bench is down to two following the injuries to Gregorius and catcher J.T. Realmuto.
