Edson Barboza suffered a decision loss to Lerone Murphy in the main event of UFC Vegas 92 on Saturday. Barboza entered the bout on a two-fight winning streak but was the underdog. In the fight, Barboza struggled from the get-go as Murphy was the faster and more active striker. The Brazilian also struggled to defend takedowns and he finished the fight being outstruck 259-to-79 and was taken down four times as he was controlled for over five minutes. With the loss, Barboza is now 18-12 in the UFC and will likely face someone outside the rankings next time out.
