Kris Bryant Diagnosed With Wrist Contusion
3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Kris Bryant (wrist) has been diagnosed with a wrist contusion, according to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com. Bryant was hit by a pitch on Wednesday afternoon, as he came on as a pinch-hitter late in the game. He immediately exited after being hit, although manager David Ross said after the game that Bryant would have been removed for a pinch runner even if he hadn't been hit by the pitch. Bastian adds that more information will be made available on Bryant's condition on Friday, so until then managers should continue to consider him day-to-day.
