Frederik Andersen Makes Return From Injury On Wednesday
4 years agoToronto Maple Leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen (lower body) will be in between the pipes as his team takes on the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night. The 31-year-old, who has missed nearly two full months due to a lower-body injury, will enter the contest with a 13-8-2 record to go along with a 2.91 goals-against average and an .897 save percentage in just 23 starts on the campaign. It's unclear who will start Game 1 for Toronto when the playoffs start next week, but it's surely good news for the Leafs to get their No. 1 goaltender back to full health.
