Jesus Aguilar Stays Hot With Another Home Run
4 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman Jesus Aguilar stayed hot on Tuesday, going 3-for-4 with a home run and two doubles. He ended up scoring one run and driving in two. Aguilar's homer was an eighth inning two-run shot that brought the Marlins within three runs in what was ultimately an ugly 11-3 loss thanks to what is now becoming expectedly poor bullpen management from Don Mattingly. Aguilar could be approaching legitimate MVP consideration if he can start hitting the way he does on the road when the Marlins play at home. He has a .283 batting average, a .926 OPS, eight homers, and 29 RBI.
