Pablo Lopez Gives Up Six Runs On Tuesday
4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez didn't have much go right in Tuesday's start against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Lopez only made it through 4 1/3 innings, allowing six runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out just three. Lopez was struggling with his control, leaving too many balls over the plate and missing the corners with both his fastball and his change up. He left with the bases loaded in the fifth inning after getting just one out, so his line could have been a little better, but reliever John Curtiss quickly allowed all three inherited runners to score, adding them to Pablo's line. Lopez falls to 0-3 and will take a 3.07 ERA into his next start.
