4 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi (forearm) is slated to face live batters on Wednesday. Odorizzi was able to throw 37 pitches during a bullpen session on Saturday- though this would be his first action against live hitters since he strained a muscle in his forearm on April 24. The next step for the veteran right-hander is a one or two rehab starts to build up his arm. Odorizzi has pitched to a 3.97 ERA in 10 big-league seasons and could be a sneaky source of wins on the Astros when healthy.--Tim Capurso
