Ohtani is tied for the major league lead in home runs with 10 and has been a revelation at the plate as well as on the mound. On top of sporting a 14.49 K/9 rate as a starter, Ohtani also has hits in five of his last six starts and is slashing .276/.326/.626 through 123 at-bats. The 26-year-old is delivering upon the immense promise that came with his arrival to the major leagues two season.
