Sandy Alcantara Goes Seven Strong On Sunday
4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara pitched well on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers, but ended up with a no-decision. He pitched seven innings, allowing just one run on five hits and two walks while striking out six. The only damage off Alcantara was a solo homer off the bat of Dan Vogelbach in the fourth inning. The Marlins offense could only score one run though, so Alcantara is still stuck on just one win for the season. His ERA lowered to 2.72, though. He'll face the Dodgers his next time on the mound.
