Sunday afternoon features the Goodyear 400 from Darlington Speedway. Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr., and William Byron will make up the top five to start the race. Monkey Knife Fight has an extremely easy fantasy point system: 0.1 points for each lap led and then a set amount of points for their position (20 for 1st place, 19 for 2nd place, 18 for 3rd, and so on).

Pick 1: More or Less Fantasy Points (2/2)
Recommended Prop Pick: Denny Hamlin LESS 17.5 Fantasy Points and Kyle Larson MORE 17.5 Fantasy Points
Hamlin and Larson are projected to be two of the better fantasy point producers at Darlington on Sunday and we are fortunate to have both leading off here but...
Hamlin just cannot seem to break into the win column and worse, the last couple of races have almost seen him try too hard to win. He had several brushes with other cars at Talladega (just ask Joey Logano) and then had another encounter or two with the wall at Kansas. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver still leads the Cup Series in points but for Monkey Knife Fight, he has now hit the LESS two weeks in a row. With his seventh-place starting position, there is concern that he may again not finish in the top five or lead enough laps because of who is in front of him and one who is behind -- Kyle Larson. That is why we pick the LESS with Hamlin. Hamlin finishing in the top five and leading enough laps may be too much of a risk to bear.
For a driver like Kyle Larson, he benefits from starting 14th on Sunday. Everyone knows he is coming. The big bonus is this. Larson has led 497 laps in the last four races at Darlington. Now, he has not won a single one of those races but five top ten results in six races have most thinking a podium result is very possible. With temperatures expected to be above 85 degrees at race time, that is an added boost for Larson who thrived when it was hotter. Yes, the 17.5 points are high and given what happened to Larson last week, there is some risk. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver admitted he raced too hard and it was a lesson learned. Do not expect the third mistake in a row this week. Take the MORE here with Larson on Sunday as the laps led bonus benefitted him last week and will this week as well.
This all boils down to wrecks mostly (do watch for an isolated thunderstorm and very warm conditions) for the Goodyear 400.

Pick 2: More or Less Fantasy Points (2/2)
Recommended Prop Pick: Kevin Harvick MORE 16.5 Fantasy Points, Martin Truex Jr. LESS 16.5 Fantasy Points
This prop is less risky because of where the drivers start on Sunday at Darlington. Martin Truex Jr. starts from the 4th position on Sunday and Kevin Harvick starts second. That is good news.
Kevin Harvick did everything but win last Sunday at Kansas. He just ran out of laps to pass Kyle Busch and had to settle for second. He starts second, like we mentioned, at Darlington this week. The Stewart-Haas Racing driver should be able to stay near the front as his record on speedways this time of year is consistently good. He has won on the track a few times in the past and finished in the top five every other race basically along with the three wins. That bodes well for points Monkey Knife Fight-wise. There is a chance he may lead a few laps and with those points that should be enough to bet the MORE here.
These point totals are dicey when it comes to Martin Truex Jr. Can he lead enough laps and finish in the top five? It is not as likely given that Truex Jr. has finished twice in the last 17 races at Darlington. However, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver has had eight top-ten results there in that span. It is a tough ask to guarantee the points needed here. The Fall race saw Truex Jr. lead 186 laps. Can he do that again? Or will it be like the Spring races where he struggled to stay in the top ten and led fewer laps? That is why picking the LESS here is more prudent. There is too much risk in taking the MORE.
