Giancarlo Stanton Goes Yard For Second Straight Game
4 years agoNew York Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Thursday's loss to the Astros. Not only did Stanton extend his hitting streak to 12 games, but he also continued to absolutely punish the baseball in each of his two batted balls Thursday. Both of his batted balls traveled at exit velocities of 115 MPH or greater, including a 117.3 MPH, 437-foot home run off of Lance McCullers Jr. Stanton is batting .481 with six home runs and 11 RBI during his hitting streak and is likely carrying fantasy managers to victories as he continues to produce at the dish.
